Millwood / Laird construction:
TTC detour starts October 3

Update — Tuesday, November 29, 7:01 p.m.: Construction has ended and buses have resumed regular service.

Starting Tuesday, October 3, a City of Toronto contractor is temporarily blocking parts of the intersection of

  • Millwood Road with Laird Drive

during a project to repair the sidewalks, curbs and roadway.

Work on the project prevents buses from safely turning at the intersection.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the intersection is under construction:

From Tuesday, October 3 until Thursday, November 30, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Sutherland Drive and Millwood Road, then detour:

northward along Sutherland;
eastward along Lea Avenue; and then
southward along Laird Drive to Millwood Road,
resuming their regular route southward along Millwood.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Millwood Road at Randolph Road and Southvale Drive.

Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Laird Drive at Kenrae and Malcolm Roads.
