TTC contractors continue working on the project to extend the Line 1 Yonge - University subway northwest to Vaughan.
The subway extension opens Sunday, December 17.
Crews continue to work on
- Keele Street between The Pond and Toro Roads
as they continue building the future Finch West Station and its bus terminal and restore the roadway.
Starting today, Tuesday, October 10 at 9 a.m., they’re shifting traffic lanes on Keele to the east, preventing buses from turning at the intersection with Murray Ross Parkway.
TTC buses operating along the 107B Keele North route resume regular service, with southbound buses again operating southward along Keele and eastward along Finch Avenue West and northbound buses reversing the southbound routing.
The TTC has detoured the buses since Wednesday, February 1.
Crews continue to block lanes, restricting traffic on Keele between The Pond and Toro to just one lane in each direction and on Finch Avenue West at two lanes in each direction during this work.
Crews working on the project also reduce Keele Street to one lane in each direction again south of Finch West for about 50 metres (150 feet).
They’re also installing traffic signals at the intersection of Keele with Four Winds Drive, completely closing Four Winds to traffic.
Passengers riding buses operating along the 36 Finch West, 41 Keele and 107 Keele North routes should continue to expect delays.
