TTC installing PRESTO fare gates
at College Station, starting November 10



The TTC continues to install new PRESTO fare gates at more stations.

College Station is next.

TTC crews are removing turnstiles and replacing them with new, PRESTO-enabled, paddle-style fare gates. The new gates provide easier access and improve the flow of passengers into and out of stations.


Crews start working Friday, November 10. Passengers enter and exit the station only through the collector-booth aisle or a temporary collector booth aisle. A PRESTO card reader is available beside the station collector during construction. Customer-service staff will help you find your way through the station.


The TTC is closing the station to passengers after 10 p.m. each night Tuesday, November 14 until Thursday, November 16 and again Monday, November 20.

Whenever the station closes early, trains operating along the 1 Yonge - University line do not stop in the station. You must walk to Wellesley or Dundas stations to board the trains.

PRESTO fare-gate construction in St Andrew Station continues “until early January” or until January 12.
