GO Transit is decreasing the frequency of trains along the 01 Lakeshore West line between Aldershot and Appleby GO Stations this weekend, Friday, November 24 evening and all day, Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26.
Trains operate every hour, instead of every 30 minutes, between the two stations, while crews maintain the tracks near Burlington GO Station.
Friday, November 24:
- The eastbound trains that usually leave Aldershot GO Station at 8:31, 9:31 and 10:31 p.m. start, instead, in Appleby GO Station at 8:44, 9:44 and 10:44 p.m. They end their trips in Union Station at their usual times — 9:41, 10:41 and 11:41 p.m.
- The westbound trains that leave Union at 7:13, 8:13, 9:13, 10:13 and 11:13 p.m. end their trips in Appleby at 8:07, 9:07. 10:07 and 11:07 p.m. and 12:07 a.m.
Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26
- The eastbound trains that usually leave Aldershot GO Station at 31 minutes past the hour, start, instead, at Appleby GO Station at 44 minutes past the hour. They end their trips in Union at 40 minutes past the hour, as usually.
- The westbound trains that usually leave Union Station at 13 minutes past the hour end their trips in Appleby at 7 minutes past the hour.
Connecting GO buses operating along the 12 Niagara Falls / Burlington, 15 Brantford / Burlington and 18 Lakeshore West routes continue to operate according to their regular schedules.
Hamilton Street Railway and Burlington Transit buses also continue to operate according to their regular schedules.
You may have to wait as much as 30 minutes longer than usually for GO trains at Aldershot and Burlington GO Stations this weekend.
