TTC installing PRESTO fare gates
at Osgoode Station, starting November 28

The TTC continues to install new PRESTO fare gates at more stations.

Osgoode Station is next.

TTC crews are removing turnstiles and replacing them with new, PRESTO-enabled, paddle-style fare gates. The new gates provide easier access and improve the flow of passengers into and out of stations.

Crews start working Tuesday, November 28. Passengers enter and exit the station only through the collector-booth aisle or a temporary collector booth aisle. A PRESTO card reader is available beside the station collector during construction. Customer-service staff will help you find your way through the station.

During a later phase of construction, the TTC is completely closing the collector booth and you won’t be able to buy tickets, tokens or passes at the station.

The TTC is also closing the station to passengers from 10 p.m. Friday, December 1 until 6 a.m. Monday, December 4. During this weekend closure, Line 1 Yonge - University subway trains will not stop in the station. Passengers can use St Patrick or St Andrew stations to board the trains.

To buy a PRESTO card, visit the Gateway Newstand in Osgoode Station or prestocard.ca.

PRESTO fare-gate construction in Osgoode Station continues “until early March” or until March 9.
