The TTC continues to install new PRESTO fare gates at more stations.
Queen’s Park Station is next.
TTC crews are removing turnstiles and replacing them with new, PRESTO-enabled, paddle-style fare gates. The new gates provide easier access and improve the flow of passengers into and out of stations.
Crews start working Monday, December 4. Passengers enter and exit the station only through the collector-booth aisle or a temporary collector booth aisle. A PRESTO card reader is available beside the station collector during construction. Customer-service staff will help you find your way through the station.
The TTC is also closing the station to passengers after 10 p.m. Wednesday, December 6 and Thursday, December 7 and again Monday, December 11 and Tuesday, December 12. During these early closures, Line 1 Yonge - University subway trains will not stop in the station. Passengers can use Museum or St Patrick stations to board the trains.
To buy a PRESTO card, visit the Gateway Newstand in Queen’s Park Station or prestocard.ca.
PRESTO fare-gate construction in Queen’s Park Station continues “until the end of March” or until March 31.
