TTC installing PRESTO fare gates
at Union Station, starting December 6

The TTC continues to install new PRESTO fare gates at more stations.

Union Station is next.

TTC crews are removing turnstiles and replacing them with new, PRESTO-enabled, paddle-style fare gates. The new gates provide easier access and improve the flow of passengers into and out of stations.

Starting Wednesday, December 6, crews work at the east entrance (from Brookfield Place). Passengers enter and exit the station through a temporary fare-collector aisle during construction. Construction at the east entrance continues until March 31, 2018.

The TTC is closing the west and **north exits from 11 p.m. Wednesday, December 6 during fare-gate construction. The exits are closed until March 31, 2018.

The TTC is closing a north fare line collector booth until March 31, 2018. Visit one of the other collector booths at the station to buy your fare. The crash gate collector aisle is also available.

The TTC is installing the new fare gates on the south fare line from March 31 until June 30, 2018. You will enter the station through the collector booth aisle or a temporary fare-collector aisle. You can also enter the station through the Brookfield automatic entrance or the west entrance / exit.

The Brookfield rotunda is closed during construction.
