Metrolinx looking for your ideas
for naming light rail transit line stops

Metrolinx is looking for your ideas on new names for stops on the future Finch West and Hurontario light rail transit lines.

It’s looking for names that are:

  • Simple — Easy to remember;
  • Logical — Link to the location;
  • Durable — Relevant for as long as passengers use the station or stop;
  • Self-locating — Help passengers to mentally locate themselves within the area; and
  • Unique — Cannot be confused with any other.
