Metrolinx contractors continue building the future Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line between Mount Dennis and Kennedy.

As part of ongoing work to support excavation (shoring) and relocate utilities for the future Kennedy Station, crews are reconfiguring traffic lanes

  • at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue East with Kennedy Road

this month. Crews started shoring last April and will continue in phases at the intersection.

From 7 p.m. Monday, October 22 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, crews are re-arranging the lanes. Once they’ve set up the new traffic configuration, it remains in place for “approximately three (3) months” or until January 31, 2019.
