The TTC is resuming regular service after the holidays, starting Sunday, January 7.
It’s also continuing its program of rebranding express bus routes by designating them with 900-series numbers. It’s introducing three “new” express routes, starting Monday, January 7:
The TTC continues to suspend service along this route due to Metrolinx construction of the Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line:

The TTC also resumes extra service along the route to and from a high school Monday-to-Friday school days.
902 Markham Rd express
The TTC adds another stop for buses operating along the route.

116 Morningside
The TTC resumes extra service to and from a high school Monday-to-Friday school days.
501 Queen
The TTC resumes operating rush-hour trippers along the route, partially restoring the former 508 Lake Shore service between south Etobicoke and downtown Toronto.
Starting Monday, January 7, three eastbound tripper cars link Long Branch Loop with Russell Carhouse during morning rush hours. They arrive on Queen Street West east of Yonge Street at about 8:30, 8:40 and 8:50 a.m. Two westbound trippers link Russell to Sunnyside Loop. They leave Queen East east of Yonge at about 8:35 and 8:45 a.m.
Three westbound trip link Russell with Long Branch during afternoon rush hours. They leave Queen East east of Yonge at about 5:05, 5:15 and 5:25 p.m. Two eastbound tripper link Sunnyside and Neville Park loops. They arrive on Queen West west of Yonge at about 5:05 and 5:15 p.m.
The TTC is also making other changes to service along the route.
48 Rathburn

Starting Monday, January 7, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops south of Eglinton Avenue East / Don Mills Road (in Flemingdon Park):
- every 10 minutes 15 seconds, instead of every 10 minutes, Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours;
- every 11 minutes, instead of every 10 minutes, during afternoon rush hours; and
- every 13½ minutes, instead of every 13 minutes, from about 7 until 10 p.m.
The buses serve passengers at stops west of Eglinton East / Don Mills:
- every 3 minutes, instead of every 2 minutes 51 seconds, during morning rush hours;
- every 4 minutes 27 seconds, instead of every 4 minutes 28 seconds, from about 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.; and
- every 3 minutes 12 seconds, instead of every 2 minutes 49 seconds, during afternoon rush hours.
The TTC is also increasing the frequency of service along other parts of the route.
100 Flemingdon Park

Revising the paths for transit vehicles along a route
503 Kingston Rd
The TTC revises the path so that uses return to the “traditional” routing along Wellington and York Streets, instead of operating to and from King Street West / Spadina Avenue.
Westbound buses operate along their usual route to King Street East and Church Street, then proceed:
southward along Church; and then
westward along Wellington Streets East and West to York Street,
ending their trips.Westbound buses again drop off or pick up passengers at stops
- on Church Street at Wellington Street East,
- on Wellington Street East at Yonge Street and
- on Wellington Street West at Bay and York Streets.
Westbound buses no longer serve passengers at stops
- on King Street East west of Church Street,

- on Spadina Avenue north of King Street West and
- on Charlotte Street at Oxley Street.
Streetcars operating along the 504 King route continue to serve passengers at the stops on King Streets East and West. Cars along the 510 Spadina route continue to serve passengers at the stops on Spadina Avenue and Charlotte Street.
Eastbound buses start their trips on Wellington Street West at York Street, then proceed:
northward along York to King West,
resuming their regular route eastward along King.Eastbound buses again drop off or pick up passengers at stops
- on Wellington Street West at York Street and
- on York Street at King Street West.
Eastbound buses no longer serve passengers at stops
- on Charlotte Street at Oxley Avenue and

The TTC is also decreasing the frequency of service along the route.

Starting Monday, January 7, the TTC operates a bus on a new southbound trip along the route for passengers travelling from Leaside High School. The bus leaves Eglinton Station at 2:58 p.m. to arrive at the school for the dismissal time. The bus arrives at Eglinton Avenue East and Hanna Road at 3:11 p.m.
102 Markham Rd
Holiday service ends and regular service resumes. The TTC again provides extra service for passengers travelling from Cardinal Newman Catholic Secondary School.

503 Kingston Rd
Starting Monday, January 7, the TTC again operates buses, instead of streetcars along the route during a City of Toronto construction project on Wellington Streets East between Church and Yonge Streets.

The TTC is also revising the path for transit vehicles operating along the route.

The TTC is assigning Canadian Light Rail Vehicles (CLRVs) to operate all base service along the route. It will also provide service with new low-floor Toronto Flexity cars when it has extra cars available.
It’s also operating rush-hour tripper cars to bolster service along parts of the route. It’s assigning Articulated Light Rail Vehicles (ALRVs) to operate this service.

512 St Clair
Construction at Roncesvalles Carhouse has progressed, so the TTC can again store a small number of cars in the facility overnight.
Cars operating along the 512 St Clair route are the first to return to Roncesvalles from Leslie Barns. They enter and exit service along King Street West and Bathurst Street. All cars operating to and from the carhouse stop to drop off or pick up passengers in the terminal at Bathurst Station.
984 Sheppard West overnight
Starting Sunday, January 5, the TTC designates service between Sheppard West and Sheppard - Yonge Station as the 984B branch of the route.
