Update — Friday, May 1, 2020, 1:14 p.m.: The Region advises that crews start resurfacing the roadway from south of Highway 403 to south of Dundas Street West Sunday, May 3. They continue “until mid-July” or until about July 19.

Crews work all day every day, milling during nighttime hours and, immediately afterward, paving during daytime hours. We understand that this may cause inconvenience for a short period of time, but will speed up the completion of the project. The Region will phase milling and paving to reduce the timeline for disrupting neighbourhoods and traffic flow. However, due to the nature of the activity, it may close traffic lanes and restrict left turns as work progresses.

Update — Update — Wednesday, June 26, 12:35 a.m.*: The Region extends the scope of the project as far south as Fowler Drive, starting Wednesday, June 25. By expanding the work zone, the project affects even more MiWay service.

Update — Friday, May 17, 6:35 a.m.: MiWay advises that construction blocks the northbound stop at Lincoln Green Way, affecting service along the 13 Glen Erin and 71 Sheridan - Subway routes. It’s advising passengers to board or exit from buses at alternate stop #0503 north of Fowler Drive, 330 metres (1,082 feet) south.

Update — Friday, April 29, 4:38 p.m.: MiWay advises that construction blocks stop #1719 northbound at Burnhamthorpe Road West, affecting service along the 29 Park Royal and 48 Erin Mills routes. A temporary stop is just 100 feet (30 metres) north of original stop.

“This spring”, (perhaps as early as Monday, March 25), Region of Peel contractors start a project to “rehabilitate”

• Erin Mills Parkway (Regional Road 1) between south of Highway 403 and Sheridan Park Drive / Lincoln Green Way in Mississauga.

During the project, contractors are:

• removing and replacing the asphalt pavement;
• removing and replacing the concrete sidewalk and bus landing pads;
• installing a new asphalt multi-use path;
• rehabilitating a pedestrian underpass;
• improving intersections;
• modifying traffic signals;
• installing landscaping and restoring sod.

MiWay passengers aboard buses along these routes can expect delays:

• 13 Glen Erin;
• 29 Park Royal - Homelands;
• 36 Colonial Ridgeway;
• 48 Erin Mills;
• 101 Dundas express; and
• 110 University express.

Construction on Erin Mills Parkway and the resulting MiWay delays continue “until fall 2020” or until about October 31, 2020.
