• at the cul-de-sac on the north end of Concorde Place and

(The TTC is temporarily delaying this project until May. However, TTC staff had already prepared new schedules before deciding to postpone the project. When construction begins, buses along the 26 Dupont route start and end their trips in the terminal at Old Mill Station, instead of Jane Station.)

29 Dufferin

The TTC is temporarily extending the path for buses along the route. All buses during all time periods operate along the 29C branch to and from Princes’ Gate, instead of starting and ending their trips in Dufferin Gate Loop.

(The City of Toronto and the TTC planned to rebuild the complex intersection of Queen Street West / The Queensway / King Street West / Roncesvalles, including TTC tracks, curves and switches, starting early April. The City has postponed the project until 2020. If the intersection-rebuild project had proceeded, the TTC would have diverted many streetcars along the 504 King and 501 Queen routes to Dufferin Gate Loop. To avoid congestion in the loop, it proposed extending buses along the 29 Dufferin route to Princes’ Gate during construction. However, TTC staff had already prepared new schedules before the City decided to postpone the project. Buses return to Dufferin Gate Loop in May.)

TTC staff have specifically chosen accessible transfer stops along every Family of Services route where you can transfer between your Wheel-Trans vehicle and a conventional TTC bus or streetcar. The TTC says it’s made sure that these transfer points are right for Wheel-Trans riders. All stops meet or exceed City of Toronto Accessibility Design Guidelines or Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) requirements.

The TTC is also increasing and decreasing the frequency of service along the route.

25 Don Mills

Starting Monday, March 18, the TTC designates the route as a “Family of Services” route to expand the family of accessible service available to all TTC passengers.

The TTC is also revising the path for buses operating along the route.

929 Dufferin express

Starting Monday, April 2, buses drop off or pick up passengers on both the north and south sides of the intersection of Dufferin Street with Eglinton Avenue East. By scheduling buses to stop on both sides of Eglinton, the TTC improves access to passengers during ongoing Metrolinx construction of the Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line and the future Fairbank Station.

The TTC is also increasing the frequency of service along the route and revising the path for buses along the route.

Starting Monday, March 18, the TTC designates the route as a “Family of Services” route to expand the family of accessible service available to all TTC passengers.

According to the TTC, “A Family of Services Trip takes place when a Wheel-Trans customer uses the TTC’s conventional transit for a part of their journey.”

TTC staff have specifically chosen accessible transfer stops along every Family of Services route where you can transfer between your Wheel-Trans vehicle and a conventional TTC bus or streetcar. The TTC says it’s made sure that these transfer points are right for Wheel-Trans riders. All stops meet or exceed City of Toronto Accessibility Design Guidelines or Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) requirements.

Friday, March 29 is the last day that the TTC interlines the buses with service along the 115 Silver Hills route Mondays to Fridays after about 10 p.m.
