The Region of Durham and the City of Pickering is closing a number of streets in Bay Ridges, including

  • Bayly Street (Regional Road 22), eastbound lanes, between east of the GO Station entrance and Alliance Road and
  • Krosno Boulevard between Annland and Bayly Streets

Saturday morning to accommodate the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 606’s annual parade.

From 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Kingston and Glenanna Roads, then detour:

eastward along Kingston to just east of Glenanna,
ending their trips.

Westbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Glenanna Road across from The Esplanade.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

The City of Toronto is closing

Sunday afternoon to accommodate the annual parade.

The TTC is detouring transit service during the event. The parade also features a cavalcade of four generations of TTC streetcars.

From noon until 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 1, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Southwood Drive and Glen Stewart Crescent, then detour:

west- and northward along Glen Stewart to Kingston Road, ending their trips.
