Yonge Street crane activity:
TTC detour, June 9 to 13

From 10 p.m. Sunday, June 9 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 10 and continuing overnight nightly, the City of Toronto is closing

  • Yonge Street just north of Dundas Street East,

as crews lift a crane at a construction site.

The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 320 Yonge overnight.


Crane activity on Yonge Street and the resulting TTC detour continue until 5 a.m. June 13.

Monday, June 10 until Thursday, June 12, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Yonge and Gerrard Streets, then detour:

westward along Gerrard West;
southward along Bay Street; and then
eastward along Dundas Street West to Yonge,
resuming their regular route southward along Yonge.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Yonge Street at Elm Street and Dundas Street West.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Yonge Street across from Elm Street and at Gerrard Street West.
