Eglinton Crosstown header.jpg

Metrolinx contractors continue building the future Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line between Mount Dennis and Kennedy.

Starting Monday, June 24, crews are replacing the large tower crane

  • on Laird Drive south of Eglinton Avenue East

near the site of the future Laird Station.

During the five days that crews work to replace the crane, the work zone will block

  • Laird Drive between Eglinton Avenue East and Parklea Drive

to all traffic for two to three one-hour periods during off-peak travel times. The work zone may also block the sidewalk sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton and the north/south crosswalk on the west side of Laird during each one-hour period.
