TTC hosts Public Forum on Accessible Transit, September 25

The TTC’s Public Forum on Accessible Transit takes place Thursday, December 13. This year’s forum updates will update you about TTC accessibility initiatives and gather your feedback about how to improve the TTC’s accessible conventional and specialized services.

You can meet with TTC management, staff, and members of the TTC’s Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit from 6 until 7 p.m.

The forum takes place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at:

Beanfield Centre
Exhibition Place
Ballroom A
105 Princes’ Boulevard.

How to get there by public transit:
  • Regularly accessible service is available along the 509 Harbourfront streetcar route from Union Station. The nearest stop to the Beanfield Centre is just west of Strachan Avenue on Manitoba Drive (about 300 metres to walk).
  • For help in planning your trip using conventional TTC service, call 416-393-4636.
  • Wheel-Trans passengers can book their trips on-line at mywheel-trans.ttc.ca, calling Wheel-Trans, 416-393-4222 or the Family of Services line, 416-397-5852.
  • Due to the high volume of passengers attending this event, please note that the TTC will organize all return trips after the event finishes at 9 p.m. and will not schedule them in advance.
  • Accessible shuttle buses operate from St George Station to the Beanfield Centre and from the Beanfield Centre back to St George Station.
