Toronto Transit Commission meets, September 24



The Toronto Transit Commission meets Tuesday, September 24 at 1 p.m. in Committee Room #2, City Hall, 100 Queen Street West.

The commission is the TTC’s board of directors. It oversees matters of policy and planning, building, maintaining and operating the TTC system and expanding its services and facilities.

Commissioners include City of Toronto councillors and members of the public.


During this meeting, the commissioners consider various staff reports:

  • A work plan to proactively enhance the TTC’s efforts to combat all forms of racism through a comprehensive, system-wide anti-racism strategy. (You can read the report here (.pdf).
  • Progress and strategies to address TTC’s “High Priority” outstanding recommendations from the Auditor General of Toronto. (You can read the report here (.pdf).)
  • “Revenue-Control Strategy Phase 1”: The TTC response to the Auditor General of Toronto recommendations on fare evasion and fare inspection. (You can read the report here (.pdf).
