Yonge Street crane activity: TTC detour, January 6, 7



From 10 p.m. Monday, January 6 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, the City of Toronto is closing:

  • Yonge Street north of Dundas Street East,

as contractors operate a crane at a construction site.

The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 320 Yonge overnight.

Until 5 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Yonge and Gerrard Streets, then detour:

westward along Gerrard West;
southward along Bay Street; and then
eastward along Dundas Street West to Yonge,
resuming their regular route southward along Yonge.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Yonge Street at Elm Street and Dundas Street West.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Yonge Street across from Elm Street and at Gerrard Street West.
