Brampton Transit decreasing weekend service, starting April 4



Update — Monday, June 22, 6:53 a.m.: Brampton Transit is reopening customer-service counters in three terminals, starting June 22.


Update — Sunday, June 14, 2:30 p.m.: BT is restoring some of its regular service, starting Monday, June 15.


Update — Saturday, May 2, 6:02 p.m.: Brampton Transit increases service along 11 routes, starting Monday, May 4.


Update — Saturday, April 25, 12:53 p.m.: Brampton Transit is closing customer-service counters in terminals, starting Monday, April 27.


Update — Saturday, April 11, 8:04 a.m.: Starting Monday, April 13, most Brampton Transit buses operate with “enhanced” Sunday schedules Mondays to Saturdays. Starting Sunday, April 19, buses along most routes operate with regular Sunday schedules. BT is also cancelling all service along several routes.

Starting Saturday, April 4 and until further notice, Brampton Transit is cancelling or decreasing Saturday, Sunday and holiday service along these routes:

Saturdays

  • 32 Father Tobin: cancelled;
  • 33 Peter Robertson: cancelled;
  • 52 McMurchy: less frequent service - every 50 minutes, instead of every 25 minutes, all day; and
  • 56 Kingknoll: cancelled.

Sundays and holidays:

  • 32 Father Tobin: cancelled;
  • 52 McMurchy: less frequent service - every 50 minutes, instead of every 25 minutes, all day; and
  • 56 Kingknoll: cancelled.

Also, starting Friday, April 3, BT is reminding passengers that transit is for essential trips only.
