Scugog Street Bowmanville level-crossing upgrades: DRT detour, May 7



From 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, May 7, the Municipality of Clarington is closing

while CP crews upgrade the signals at the level crossing.

Durham Region Transit is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 502 North Bowmanville.

502 Bowmanville North

From 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, May 7, buses operate along their regular route to Scugog Street and Longworth Avenue, then detour:

westward along Longworth;
southward along Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57);
eastward along King Street West (Regional Highway 2); and then
northward along Scugog to Church Street,
resuming their regular route eastward along Church.

Buses skip their regular stops

  • on Scugog Street south of Longworth Avenue and Jackman Road and across from O’Dell Street.
