Since March 2019, Region of Peel contractors have been working on a project to “rehabilitate”
- Erin Mills Parkway (Regional Road 1) between south of Highway 403 and Fowler Drive / Leanne Boulevard in Mississauga.
Starting 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14, construction blocks part of
- the intersection of Erin Mills Parkway with Burnhamthorpe Road West.
The work zone restricts eastbound vehicles, including buses, on Burnhamthorpe West from turning left onto northbound Erin Mills. Starting 5 p.m. Monday, June 15, the contractors expand the work zone to restrict southbound vehicles on Erin Mills from turning right onto westbound Burnhamthorpe.
MiWay is detouring buses along these routes, while construction blocks part of the intersection:
- 1C Dundas - Collegeway;
- 29 Park Royal - Homelands;
- 36 Colonial - Ridgeway;
- 48 Erin Mills;
- 101 Dundas express; and
- 110 University express.
Construction at Erin Mills / Burnhamthorpe West and the resulting MiWay detours continue until 5 p.m. June 16.
36 Colonial - Ridgeway
Southbound buses operate along their regular route. From 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14 until 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, northbound buses operate along their regular route to South Common Centre access road at Burnhamthorpe Road West, then detour:
westward along Burnhamthorpe West; and then
southward along Glen Erin Drive to The Collegeway,
resuming their regular route westward along Collegeway.Northbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Burnhamthorpe Road West at Erin Mills Parkway,
- on The Collegeway west of Erin Mills Parkway, at South Millway [west], south of South Millway, across from Hornbeam Crescent and at Glen Erin Drive.
1C Dundas - Collegeway
From 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14 until 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to South Common Centre access road at Burnhamthorpe Road West, then detour:
westward along Burnhamthorpe West;
southward along Glen Erin Drive; and then
eastward along The Collegeway to South Millway [east],
resuming their regular route eastward along Collegeway.Eastbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Burnhamthorpe Road West at Erin Mills Parkway and
- on South Millway south of Burnhamthorpe Road West.
Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Burnhamthorpe Road West east of Glen Erin Drive and
- on The Collegeway east of Glen Erin Drive, at Hornbeam Crescent and east of Hornbeam Crescent.
Westbound buses operate along their regular route.
101 Dundas express
From 5 p.m. Monday, June 15 until 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to South Common Centre access road at Burnhamthorpe Road West, then detour:
westward along Burnhamthorpe West;
southward along Glen Erin Drive; and then
eastward along The Collegeway to South Millway [west],
resuming their regular route southward along South Millway.Buses drop off or pick up passengers at all stops.
Westbound buses operate along their regular route.

29 Park Royal - Homelands
From 5 p.m. Monday, June 15 until 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, southbound buses operate along their regular route to the Mississauga Transitway and Erin Mills Parkway, then detour:
northward along Erin Mills;
westward along Credit Valley Road;
southward along Glen Erin Drive; and then
eastward along Burnhamthorpe Road West to South Common Centre access road,
resuming their regular route southward into South Common Centre terminal.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Erin Mills Parkway at Folkway Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road West,
- on The Collegeway west of Erin Mills Parkway and
- on South Millway north of The Collegeway.
Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
