Early-morning construction at Spadina Station, September 18

The TTC continues its ongoing project to repair the roof at Spadina Station. To ensure the safety of passengers and avoid interrupting TTC service, some activities must take place before or after typical working hours.

Starting “as early as” 4 a.m. Friday, September 18, a small crew is setting up a mobile crane in the bus terminal at Spadina Station to lift materials onto the roof. A truck is delivering the materials.

The TTC must finish working before the start of TTC service — by about 6 a.m. Crews cannot safely perform this phase of the project from the street due to the number of overhead wires in the area.
