Starting 8 a.m. Monday, September 21, the Region of Durham and the City of Oshawa are closing
- Bloor Street East (Regional Road 22) between Wilson Road South and Ritson Road South,
to accommodate a project to replace the water main and sanitary sewer.
Durham Region Transit is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:
- 922 Bloor - Townline.
Construction on Bloor Street East continues until December and resumes again from spring until December 2021. However, DRT is cancelling service along route 922, starting Monday, September 28. Since route 922 buses only operate Mondays to Fridays, the detour applies only until September 25.

From 8 a.m. Monday, September 21 until Friday, September 25, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Bloor Street East and Wilson Road South, then detour:
southward along Wilson South;
westward along Wentworth Street East; and then
northward along Ritson Road South to Bloor East,
resuming their regular route westward along Bloor.Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Bloor Street East at Ortono Avenue, across from Dniepro Street and at Ritson Road South.
Eastbound buses reverse the westbound detour routing.
