Atlantic Avenue construction: TTC detour, October 3



From 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, October 3, the City of Toronto is closing

  • Atlantic Avenue between King Street west and Liberty Street

to accommodate contractors who are pouring concrete at a construction site.

The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 63 Ossington.

From 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, October 3, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Liberty Street and Atlantic Avenue, then detour:

westward along Liberty to Dufferin Street, ending their trips.

Southbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Atlantic Avenue at King Street West.

Northbound buses start their trips on Liberty Street east of Dufferin Street, then proceed:

northward along Dufferin; and then
eastward along King Street West to Atlantic Avenue,
ending their trips.

Northbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Atlantic Avenue at King Street West.

Instead, northbound buses pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Dufferin Street at King Street West and
  • on King Street West across from Joe Shuster Way and at Atlantic Avenue.
