Stouffville GO Station: Platform closure, starting November 23

Metrolinx continues to update amenities, enhance accessibility and make accessing services at Stouffville GO Station easier and more convenient, as part of the GO Expansion Program.

Starting Monday, November 23, GO Transit is closing the north side of the platform to install tactile yellow safety tiles and digital signs. The construction affects how you board or exit from trains.

Construction to enhance accessibility at Stouffville GO Station continues until further notice. At the end of construction, you’ll benefit from:

  • New digital signs to provide information about train services; and
  • New yellow tiles at the edge of the platform to remind you how far back to stand.

Metrolinx and GO plan to accommodate more passengers and increase service along the Stouffville line, as part of their GO Expansion Program (formerly “regional express rail”).
