Metrolinx and its contractors continue to prepare for upcoming construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.

Since mid-September, contractors have been relocating utilities

  • on Hurontario Street between Highway 407 and Matheson Boulevard

as part of the LRT construction project. The work zone blocks traffic lanes.

Starting 6 a.m. Friday, January 15, the northbound MiWay stop

  • on Hurontario at Derry Road East (stop #1907)

is out of service, due to the lane closures. Use the temporary platform beside the regular stop to board and exit from buses along these routes while the stop is out of service:

  • 17 Hurontario; and
  • 103 Hurontario express.

Also starting 6 a.m. January 15, the northbound MiWay stops

  • on Hurontario at Kingsway Drive (stop #4006) and
  • on Hurontario at Topflight Drive (stop #1908)

are out of service due to the lane closures. Use the temporary platform beside the regular stops to board and exit from buses along this route while the stop is out of service:

  • 17 Hurontario.
