Allandale Waterfront GO Station: Platform construction, starting February 1

Metrolinx continues to enhance Allandale Waterfront GO Station as part of the GO Expansion Program.

Starting Monday, February 1, GO Transit contractors are working on the train platform. They’re fencing off areas of the platform to replace and maintain critical equipment and ensure safety at the station.

Platform construction at Allandale Waterfront GO Station continues until February 12.

Metrolinx and GO plan to accommodate more passengers and increase service along the Barrie line, as part of their GO Expansion Program (formerly “regional express rail”).
