From 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, February 13, the City of Hamilton is closing
- Bay Street South between Hunter and Jackson Streets West
to accommodate contractors who are lifting a crane at a construction site.
The Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses along these routes, while the street is closed:
4 Bayfront
8 York
Inbound buses operate along their regular routes.
From 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, February 13, outbound buses operate along their regular route to Hunter Street West and Bay Street South, then detour:
westward along Hunter West;
northward along Hess Street South; and then
eastward along Main Street West to Bay South,
resuming their regular route northward along Bay.Outbound buses serve passengers at all stops.
They also drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Hunter Street West beyond Caroline Street South and at Hess Street South.
