GO adjusting schedules for Lakeshore East trains, March 6 and 7

Metrolinx contractors are upgrading signal infrastructure on GO Transit’s Lakeshore East corridor this weekend. As a result, GO is temporarily adjusting its schedules for trains along the line Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7.

All eastbound trains leave stations 10 minutes later than usually. Schedules on gotransit.com reflect this weekend’s temporary departure times. GO buses along the 81 Port Perry / Whitby, 88 Peterborough / Oshawa and 92 Oshawa / Yorkdale routes will wait in the terminals at Whitby and Oshawa GO stations for passengers transferring from the trains.

Durham Region Transit passengers should check schedules on-line if they plan to connect with GO trains.

The eastbound train that usually leaves Union Station at 12:45 a.m. continues to operate at its usual time.

Passengers connecting at Union Station with trains along the Lakeshore West line should also check schedules.
