From 11 p.m. Wednesday, March 3 until 5 a.m. Thursday, March 4, TTC track crews are repairing a broken rail

- place asphalt.
The TTC is detouring streetcars along these routes, while the crews work in the track area:

- 301L / 501L Queen shuttle buses.
It has not announced changes to the 501P Queen shuttle-bus route.
From 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, the day crew starts breaking up the concrete to expose the old rail, while streetcars continue to operate through the area. After 11 p.m., while the TTC replaces the cars with buses, the night track crew cut and replace the rail. They also weld and grind the old rail. They place asphalt in the track area by 5 a.m. March 4, so that streetcar service can resume.
The work zone restricts traffic to the curb lanes in each direction. It may also block motorists from turning left onto or from Queen Street East.
