Starting 5 a.m. Friday, March 26, the City of Mississauga is closing
- Scarboro Street Malton between Hull and York Streets,
to accommodate Metrolinx contractors who are maintaining GO Transit’s Kitchener-line tracks.
MiWay is detouring buses along these routes, while the street is closed:
Construction on Scarboro Street and the resulting MiWay detours continue until March 30.
24 Northwest
From 5 a.m. Friday, March 26 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, southbound buses operate along their regular route to York and Scarboro Streets, then detour:
eastward along Scarboro; and then
southward along Airport Road to Hull Street,
resuming their regular route southward along Airport.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Scarboro Street at Hull Street and
- on Hull Street at Harrow and Studley Streets and Airport Road.
Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Airport Road beyond Ripon Street and at Hull Street.
Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.
Northbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Hull Street across from Studley Street and
- on Scarboro Street beyond Hull Street.
Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop
- on Airport Road across from Ripon Street.
30 Rexdale
From 5 a.m. Friday, March 26 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to York and Scarboro Streets, then detour:
eastward along Scarboro; and then
southward along Airport Road to Hull Street,
