Streetcar tracks on Church Street at Bloor Street East exposed -- temporarily

City of Toronto contractors are currently resurfacing Church Street between Park Road and Gloucester Street.

Reader Stuart Mullin sent us three photos offering a rare glimpse of the old TTC streetcar tracks on Church at Bloor Street East. Stuart shot the photos today, Thursday, April 1, and they include views of the setts and parts of the curves that allowed the cars to turn from Church to Bloor (and in the opposite direction.)
