Durham Region Transit makes minor changes to its routes and services, starting Easter Monday, Monday, April 5.
DRT is revising service along these routes: 216 Harwood North; 224 Harwood - Salem; 291 Harwood - Kingston; 302 Baldwin - Brock; 403 Park; 405 Wilson; 407 Ritson; 900 PULSE Highway 2; 901 PULSE Simcoe; 902 King; 905 Thickson - Reach; 915 Taunton; 916 Rossland.
Specifically, it’s: increasing service along routes; decreasing service along routes; revising the path for buses along a route; and adjusting the schedules for buses along routes.
Increasing service along routes
900 PULSE Highway 2
DRT is extending the path for short-turning buses operating along the 900B branch of the route so that buses start and end their trips in Pickering Parkway Terminal.
Starting Easter Monday, Monday, April 5, westbound buses serve passengers at new stops (for this route)
- on Glenanna Road across from The Esplanade North and
- in Pickering Parkway Terminal.
Eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at new stops (for this route)
- in Pickering Parkway Terminal,
- on Pickering Parkway at Liverpool Road and
- on Kingston Road beyond Liverpool Road.
DRT is also adjusting the schedules for buses along the route.

916 Rossland
DRT is operating earlier eastbound buses along the route every day.
Starting Easter Monday, *Monday, *April 5, buses operating on the new trips leave Rossland Road West Ajax beyond Westney Road North at 4:53, 4:23 and 5:53 a.m. Mondays to Fridays. They end their trips in Harmony Terminal at 5:27, 5:57 and 6:27 a.m.
Starting Saturday, April 10, the buses leave Rossland West beyond Westney North at 4:49 and 5:19 a.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. They end their trips in Harmony Terminal at 5:21 and 5:51 a.m.
DRT is also adjusting the schedules for buses along the route.

Decreasing service along routes-and-schedules
224 Harwood - Salem
Easter, Sunday, April 4 is the last day that DRT operates short-turning buses along Ringer Road, Harwood Avenue North and Kerrison Drive West early mornings.
Starting Easter Monday, Monday, April 5, eastbound DRT buses along route 224 no longer drop off or pick up passengers at stops
- on Ringer Road beyond Salem Road North and at Harwood Avenue North,
- on Harwood Avenue at Kerrison Drive West and
- on Kerrison Drive West beyond Harwood Avenue North and at Salem Road North.
DRT buses continue to serve passengers at just one of these stops.
- Harwood North: 216 Harwood North.
DRT is cancelling all service to the stops on Ringer and Kerrison West.
DRT is also adjusting the schedules for buses along the route.

900 PULSE Highway 2
DRT is extending the path for short-turning buses operating along the 900B branch of the route so that buses start and end their trips in Pickering Parkway Terminal.

Starting Easter Monday, Monday, April 5, DRT is removing stops along the route “to improve the speed and reliability of the PULSE service along the Simcoe corridor.
Easter, Sunday, April 4 is the last day that southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops
- on Simce Street North beside #1598 Simcoe North (stop #709), beyond Sunset Drive (stop #715), across from Darcy Street (stop #717), and at Hospital Court (stop #93007),
- on Centre Street North at Bond Street West (stop #658),
- on Simcoe Street South across from Harbour Road (stop #1026) and
- on Lakeview Park Avenue across from Kluane Avenue (stop #1028).
It’s also the last day that northbound buses serve passengers at stops
- on Cedar Street across from Dwight Avenue (stop #986),
- on Simcoe Street North beyond King Street East (stop #676), at Darcy Street (stop #684), across from Sunset Drive (stop #686), at Taunton Road East (south side stop) (stop #690), across from Cayuga Avenue (stop #692), beside #1601 Simcoe North (stop #694) and at Eastwood Avenue North (stop #93086). DRT is also adjusting the schedules for buses along the route.

Revising the path for buses along a route
900 PULSE Highway 2
DRT is extending the path for short-turning buses operating along the 900B branch of the route so that buses start and end their trips in Pickering Parkway Terminal.
Starting Easter Monday, Monday, April 5, westbound buses operate along their usual route to Kingston and Glenanna Roads, then proceed:
southward along Glenanna; and then
westward along Pickering Parkway to Pickering Parkway Terminal,
ending their trips.Westbound buses along the 900B branch no longer drop off or pick up passengers at a stop
- on Kingston Road beyond Glenanna Road.
DRT buses along the main 900 branch of the route continue to serve this stop.
Instead, westbound buses serve passengers at new stops (for this route)
- on Glenanna Road across from The Esplanade North and
- in Pickering Parkway Terminal.
Eastbound buses start their trips in Pickering Parkway Terminal, then proceed:
westward along Pickering Parkway;
northward along Liverpool Road; and then
eastward along Kingston Road to Glenanna Road,
