Rymal Road East Hamilton construction affects HSR service, starting April 12

Update — Monday, April 19, 12:33 a.m.: The work zone blocks Rymal East to all traffic, starting Monday, April 19. The HSR is detouring the buses.

By 9 a.m. Monday, April 12, City of Hamilton contractors start a project to during a project to install a large-diameter concrete storm drain

  • on Rymal Road East between Dartnell and Nebo Roads.

The work zone restricts traffic to just one lane in each direction.

Hamilton Street Railway passengers aboard buses along these routes can expect delays:

  • 22 Upper Ottawa (to and from Glover); and
  • 44 Rymal.

Construction on Rymal Road East and the resulting HSR delays continue until April 30.
