From 1 a.m. Saturday, April 10 until 1 p.m., Sunday, April 11, the City of Toronto is closing
- Wellesley Street West between Queen’s Park Crescent East and Bay Street,
to accommodate contractors who are lifting a crane at a construction site.
The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:
- 94A Wellesley.

From 1 a.m. Saturday, April 10 until 1 p.m., Sunday, April 11, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Harbord Street and Spadina Avenue, then detour:
northward along Spadina;
eastward along Bloor Street West; and then
southward along Bay Street to Wellesley West,
resuming their regular route eastward along Wellesley.Eastbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Harbord Street at St. George Street,
- on Hoskin Avenue beside Wycliffe College and
- on Wellesley Street West beside the Ontario Legislature, beyond Queen’s Park Crescent East and at Bay Street.
Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Bloor Street West at St. George Street, Devonshire Place, Queen’s Park and Bay Street and
- on Bay Street beyond Charles Street West and at St. Joseph Street.
Westbound buses reverse the westbound detour routing.
Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Wellesley Street West at Queen’s Park Crescent East.
- on Queen’s Park Crescent West at Hoskin Avenue,
- on Hoskin Avenue beside Trinity College and at St. George Street and
- on Harbord Street at Spadina Avenue.
Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Bay Street beyond St. Joseph Street and at Charles Street West and
- on Bloor Street West at Avenue and Bedford Roads and St. George Street.
