Starting Tuesday, May 4, Brampton Transit is launching its first electric buses in regular service along the 26 Mount Pleasant route.
To accommodate efficient electric bus operations and charging at Mount Pleasant Village terminal, BT is relocating the current stop for buses along the 27 Robert Parkinsonroute one platform to the east. Buses along both route 27 and the 28 Wanless routes pick up passengers at that stop (stop# 4238).
When travelling aboard buses along the 26 Mount Pleasant route:
- You may stay on the bus while it is charging, but don’t board or exit until the charge is complete;
- You may exit the bus at the drop-off area, before the bus starts charging;
- You may board the at the pick-up area, once charging is complete.
