Starting Monday, May 10, MiWay is increasing the frequency of service along the busiest sections of Derry Road. It’s introducing the new 42A branch of the 42 Derry route. MiLocal buses along the 42A branch operate only between Mavis Road and Westwood Square terminal Mondays to Fridays before about 7 p.m.
With this new service, MiWay buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops on route 42 east of Mavis every five minutes, instead of every ten minutes, until 7 p.m. Buses continue to serve passengers at stops west of Mavis every ten minutes.
MiWay continues to suspend MiExpress service along the 104 Derry express route.
