The TTC is closing Line 1 Yonge - University subway earlier than usually between Finch West and Lawrence West stations from Monday, May 10 until Thursday, May 11. After 11 p.m. those nights, Line 1 subway trains operate only between Vaughan Metropolitan and Finch West stations and between Finch and Lawrence West stations.

Shuttle buses partly replace subway service. The buses drop off or pick up passengers in the bus terminals at Finch West and Lawrence West stations but serve passengers on the street near most other station on the closed section of the line. Note, however, that shuttle buses do not operate to and from **Downsview Park Station. At Sheppard West Station, board buses along the 84 Sheppard West, 101 Downsview Park, 106 Sentinel or 108 Driftwood routes to travel to and from the area of Downsview Park Station.

Most stations remain open so you can buy fares or connect with TTC and York Region Transit buses. However, Downsview Park and Yorkdale stations are closed.

Although shuttle buses are accessible, Wheel-Trans service is available. Ask TTC staff in each station for information about Wheel-Trans service from the station.

While this section of the subway system is closed, TTC crews are repairing leaks and maintaining the tracks.
