Downtown Hamilton filming affects GO, HSR service, May 11, 12



Tuesday, May 11 and Wednesday, May 12, the City of Hamilton is permitting filming on various streets in downtown Hamilton, delaying Hamilton Street Railway services.

From 2 until 9 p.m. May 11, filming activity blocks traffic lanes

  • on Rebecca Street between John and James Streets North.

Passengers aboard buses along this route can expect detours or delays:

  • 6 Aberdeen.

After 10 p.m. May 11, filming activity blocks traffic lanes

  • on James Street North between York Boulevard / Wilson Street and King William Street.

Passengers aboard buses along these routes can expect detours or delays:

  • 2 Barton;
  • 3 Cannon;
  • 4 Bayfront;
  • 6 Aberdeen;
  • 7 Locke;
  • 8 York.

After 10 p.m. May 12, filming activity blocks traffic lanes

  • on King Street East between John and James Streets.

Passengers aboard buses along these routes can expect detours or delays:

  • 1 King;
  • 5 Delaware
  • 21 **Upper Kenilworth;
  • 22 **Upper Ottawa;
  • 23 **Upper Gage;
  • 24 **Upper Sherman;
  • 25 **Upper Wentworth;
  • 26 **Upper Wellington;
  • 27 **Upper James;
  • 33 Sanatorium; and
  • 35 College.

Filming may also delay GO Transit buses along these routes:

  • 16 Hamilton / Toronto express;
  • 18 Lakeshore West;
  • 40 Hamilton / Pearson / Richmond Hill;
  • 41 Hamilton / Pickering; and
  • 47 Hamilton / Highway 407.
