Pickering GO Station: Staircases closed, starting May 21

Metrolinx continues working to enhance Pickering GO Station, as part of the GO Expansion Program.

Friday, May 21, GO Transit starts updating and replacing the staircases in the east tunnel.

GO is closing each staircase in phases, maintaining access to the platform from an alternate staircase.

Upgrading the staircases in the east tunnel of Pickering GO Station continues until July 6.

Metrolinx and GO plan to accommodate more passengers and increase service along the Lakeshore East line, as part of their GO Expansion Program (formerly “regional express rail”).
