Starting Monday, May 31, the City of Hamilton is closing
- McNeilly Road south of South Service Road
to accommodate Canadian National Railway crews who are repairing the tracks of the Grimsby subdivision at the McNeilly level crossing.
The Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:
Railway construction on McNeilly Road and the resulting HSR detour continue until June 4.

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route to South Service Road and McNeilly Road,
ending their trips.Westbound buses start their trips on South Service Road at McNeilly Road, as usually, then proceed:
eastward along South Service;
southward along Lewis Road; and then
westward along Barton Street East to McNeilly Road,
resuming their regular route westward along Barton East.
