Brock Road North Aberfoyle construction: GO detouring buses, June 4, 5, 6 and 7



From 6 p.m. Friday, June 4 until 6 a.m. Saturday, June 5 and continuing overnight nightly, the County of Wellington is closing:

  • Brock Road North (County Road 46) between Maltby Road and Maclean Road West / Winer Road

in the Township of Puslinch, to accommodate contractors who are repaving the roadway.

GO Transit has confirmed that it is detouring buses along these routes, but has not announced specific detour-routing information:

  • 29 Guelph / Mississauga; and
  • 48 Guelph / Highway 407.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

  • in the village of Aberfoyle on Brock Road North at Maple Leaf Lane and across from Gilmour Road.

Instead, board eastbound buses at the previous stop on Gordon Street Guelph at Clair Road West or the next stop in the Aberfoyle Park and Ride carpool lot.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Brock Road North at Gilmour Road and at Old Brock Road.

Instead, board westbound buses at the previous stop in the Aberfoyle Park and Ride carpool lot or the next stop on Gordon Street at Clair Road East.

Construction on Brock Road North and the resulting GO detours continue until June 7 (6 a.m.)
