Hurontario LRT: Utility work affects MiWay stop, starting June 8

Hurontario header.jpg

Metrolinx and its contractors continue to prepare for upcoming construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.

Since mid-September 2020, contractors have been relocating utilities

  • on Hurontario Street between Highway 407 and Matheson Boulevard

as part of the LRT construction project. The work zone blocks traffic lanes.

Starting 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, the northbound MiWay stop

  • on Hurontario beyond Annagem Boulevard

is out of service, due to the lane closures.

MiWay passengers aboard buses along this route can exit from or board buses at a temporary stop 100 metres south on Hurontario:

  • 17 Hurontario.

This phase of LRT construction at Hurontario / Annagem and the resulting MiWay service change continue until June 16 (5 p.m.)
