Metrolinx and its contractors continue to prepare for upcoming construction of the Hurontario light rail transit line in Mississauga and Brampton.

Since mid-September 2020, contractors have been relocating utilities

  • on Hurontario Street between Highway 407 and Matheson Boulevard

as part of the LRT construction project. The work zone blocks traffic lanes.

Starting 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, southbound MiWay stop #1888

  • on Hurontario Street at Matheson Boulevard West

is out of service, due to the construction. Closing the stop affects service along these routes:

  • 17 Hurontario;
  • 70 Keaton; and
  • 103 Hurontario express.

Board or exit buses along routes 17 and 103 at a temporary bus platform 70 metres south of the regular stop.
