The City of Toronto, Waterfront Toronto and the TTC are hosting a virtual meeting tonight, Monday, June 21 to consult with members of the public on the Waterfront East light rail transit project.
The meeting takes place from 7 until 9 p.m. You must register to attend the event.

During the event, you can learn more about ongoing work for the LRT extension, including:
- early designs for extending Queens Quay East between Parliament Street and Distillery Loop, including options for crossing under the rail corridor at Cherry Street;
- the design of the surface section of the LRT and Queens Quay East streetscape, including an update on the Yonge Street Slip;
- the design of the underground section of the LRT between Union Station and the proposed portal on Queens Quay East and a new design concept plan for Bay Street after completing underground construction;
- project phasing and implementation
- the upcoming transit project assessment process (TPAP) for the project
- feedback from the February consultations.
