Bloor West water-main replacement: TTC detour, July 17, 18



From 7 p.m. Friday, July 16 until 5 p.m. Sunday, July 18, the City of Toronto is closing

  • Bloor Street West between St. George Street and Avenue Road / Queen’s Park,

while crews replace the water main.

The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 300 Bloor - Danforth overnight.

Saturday, July 17 and Sunday, July 18, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Bloor Street West and St. George Street, then detour:

southward along St. George;
eastward along Hoskin Avenue;
southward along Queen’s Park Crescent West; and then
northward along Queen’s Park Crescent East and Queen’s Park to Bloor West,
resuming their regular route eastward along Bloor.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Bloor Street West across from Bedford Road and at Queen’s Park.

Westbound buses operate along their regular route to Bloor Street West and Avenue Road / Queen’s Park, then detour:

southward along Queen’s Park and Queen’s Park Crescent East;
westward along Hoskin Avenue; and then
northward along St. George Street to Bloor West,
resuming their regular route westward along Bloor.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Bloor Street West at Avenue and Bedford Roads and St. George Street.
