Castleton / Henrietta (?) construction: TTC detours, starting July 16

Update — Monday, July 19, 9:37 a.m.: The TTC has announced that construction and the resulting TTC detours start 10 a.m. today, instead of July 16.

(Updated — Monday, July 19, 9:37 a.m.) The TTC has announced that, starting 10 a.m. Friday, July 16 Monday, July 19, it’s detouring buses off

  • Castleton Avenue, northbound lanes, between Henrietta Street and Pritchard Avenue and
  • Henrietta Street, eastbound lanes, between Castleton Avenue and Runnymede Road

due to “watermain repairs”.

(The TTC has not specified the exact site of the project affecting bus service and the City of Toronto’s website does not identify any construction in the area — so we’re guessing as to the location.)

Buses along these routes are detouring:

  • 71 Runnymede; and
