Starting 7 a.m. Thursday, July 22, the City of Toronto is closing
- Church Street Weston between Pine Street and Uphill Avenue
to accommodate a project to resurface the roadway.
The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:
Construction on Church Street and the resulting TTC detour continue until August 30.
59A Maple Leaf via Gary
From 7 a.m. Thursday, July 22 until 7 p.m. Monday, August 30, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Church and Pine Streets, then detour:
southward along Pine;
eastward along John Street; and then
northward along Jane Street to Maple Leaf Drive,
resuming their regular route eastward along Maple Leaf.Eastbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Church Street across from Uphill Avenue and at Jane Street.
Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop
- on Jane Street at Maple Leaf Drive.
Westbound buses operate along their regular route.
59B Maple Leaf via Church
Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.
From 7 a.m. Thursday, July 22 until 7 p.m. Monday, August 30, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Maple Leaf Drive and Jane Street, then detour:
southward along Jane;
westward along King Street; and then
northward along Pine Street to Church Street,
resuming their regular route westward along Church.Westbound buses skip their regular stop
- on Church Street at Pine Street.
