Scarborough GO Station: Staircase repairs, starting July 29

GO Transit is repairing the west-tunnel and east-tunnel staircases at Scarborough GO Station. Crews work Mondays to Fridays only.

South staircase in the west tunnel:

Starting Thursday, July 29, a work zone blocks the south staircase in the west-tunnel, one side at a time. You can access the platform by using the other side of the staircase. After the crews have finished one side of the stairs, they start working on the other side.

West tunnel to platform 1 / 1A:

Starting Wednesday, August 18, a work zone blocks the west-tunnel stairs to platform 1 / 1A, one side at a time. Use the west tunnel to access the platform. After the crews have finished one side of the stairs, they start working on the other side.

East Tunnel to Platform 1/1A:

Starting Wednesday, September 15, a work zone fully blocks the staircase to platform 1/1A. You can use the west staircase to access the platform. Once crews have finished repairing the staircase, they will reopen it.

GO says that staircase repairs at Scarborough GO Station are “expected to be complete by mid September”, meaning the project continues as late as until September 30.
