Transit agencies often interline two or more routes with a common terminal to save on resources - human resources (drivers) and physical resources (buses). For example, when a northbound bus along the 15 Evans route arrives on Royal York Road beside Royal York Station, it then completes a round trip along the 48 Rathburn route before returning to the station area. It then continues to complete a route trip along route 15, before returning again to the station area.
